DevOps + Data ImPact Event
Following the acquisition of Delphix by Perforce Software, the company launched its first joint event- DevOps + Data Impact 2024. This event served as a key opportunity to solidify the combined brand presence, engage with the existing Delphix community, introduce Perforce to this audience, and position the integrated company as a leader in the DevOps and data space. The event needed to generate buzz, drive attendance, and create valuable content for post-event marketing efforts.
The Solution:
Recognizing the importance of a strong debut for the combined Perforce and Delphix brands, the social media strategy for the DevOps + Data Impact event focused on maximizing reach and generating lasting impact. We moved beyond simply announcing the event and focused on creating a multi-faceted experience that would resonate with key stakeholders. This involved collaborating with the cross-cross-funcational teams to produce promotional and on-site content, strategically releasing across social media to drive registrations, build anticipation, and promote engagement. We empowered event speakers to become brand ambassadors by providing them with tailored social media resources and support. During the event, I managed all on-site social media activity, capturing key moments and engaging with attendees and online audiences in real-time. Critically, we prioritized content repurposing, transforming session into valuable assets for social media, the website, and sales enablement. This ensured that the event's key messages continued to resonate long after the closing session.
